An indoor boutique clothing store with warm wood flooring and industrial-style clothing racks made of dark metal and wood.
A cozy, softly lit indoor space that feels like part creative studio, part lived-in room. The walls are warm-toned and decorated with small framed quotes, doodles, and pinned fabric samples. On the floor are open sketchbooks, folded hoodies with bold emotional prints

About Us – This Wasn’t the Plan

1. The Beginning — A Beautifully Dumb Accident

In August 2023, during a record-breaking heatwave in Denver, the founder of plugged a secondhand heat press from eBay straight into the wall — without checking the voltage. Boom. Total blackout. Six apartments lost power. No lights, no AC, just one very confused neighbor standing in the hallway with a half-heated microwave dinner.

He paid $110 to fix the damage. Then, as both a peace offering and a coping mechanism, he printed a few shirts that read: “I Survived the Apartment Blackout – Summer ’23.” No one laughed. One guy asked if it came with a rent discount. So he wore the shirt himself — part apology, part inside joke with no one but the sidewalk.

That’s when it happened. A stranger took a photo. The next day, it popped up on Reddit with the caption: “When your DIY hustle knocks out the whole building.” It went mildly viral. The comments were brutal. The memes came fast. But buried between the roasting and the sarcasm was one comment that changed everything: “This shirt’s actually kinda fire. Can I buy one?”

He paused. Then thought: “…Wait. Can you?” And just like that — was born.

2. The Business Model — Made to Order, On Purpose

doesn’t produce in bulk. doesn’t chase trends. Every product is printed only when someone places an order. That’s the made-to-order model — less waste, no stockpiles, more meaning. Each shirt begins with intent, not inventory.

Production takes place in a small studio at 215 S Wadsworth Blvd Unit 400, Denver, CO 80226, with a team of five humans (and one screechy printer). produces 300–500 shirts per month — all printed, checked, folded, and packed by hand. It’s slower, but it’s the only way trusts.

3. Sourcing & Production — No Secrets Here

sources blanks from trusted U.S. suppliers, primarily Bella+Canvas, known for comfort, consistency, and ethical manufacturing. Everything is produced in-house using heat transfer and DTF (Direct-to-Film) methods — bold prints, soft textures, and durability that survives laundry day. never outsources — if it wasn’t touched by the team, it doesn’t go out.

4. Our Design Process — Real Emotions, Wearable Words

doesn’t follow fashion boards. Most designs begin with a feeling — something unsaid, unresolved, or unintentionally hilarious. Some ideas come from the founder, others from customers. That shirt that says “Still Worth It”? It came from a customer email will never forget. Every print is an attempt to say what’s hard to say — and say it well.

5. Who It’s For — People Who Feel Things Deeply

The people who wear are thinkers, feelers, overthinkers. People who’ve been through something and want to wear something real. If you’re tired of shirts that say nothing, welcome. prints small batches for real people — not just products, but soft reminders, private jokes, and quiet confessions you can wear.

6. The Experience — Human from Start to Finish

Every shirt is checked. Folded by hand. Packed with care. No warehouses, no bots, no generic slips. The sizing guide is written like you’re talking to a friend. And if something’s off — whether it’s size, fit, or feeling — will fix it fast. Your satisfaction matters more than the sale.

7. The Studio — A Laundry Room with Ambition

The first press sat right next to the washing machine. That’s why the team still calls the space “The Laundry Room of Hope.” It’s not fancy, but it’s real — just like everything makes.

8. What’s Next — The Plan Is to Keep Going

is exploring recycled materials, developing limited capsule collections, and designing based on stories from the community. It’s not about growing fast — it’s about growing honestly. If you’re reading this, you’re part of that story now.

is just five stubborn humans (and one screechy printer) who still believe in making shirts that actually mean something.
